Summit Project 2024- Portland Lodge #188

The Portland Lodge will be hosting the 2024 Summit Project which honors Maine Fallen Heroes from Iraq, and Afghanistan wars. The event will take place from 7:00am through 9:00 with a presentation from local boy and girl Scouts performing the Pledge of Allegiance and singing our National Anthem. After the opening ceremony the stones created in the name of our fallen heroes will be delivered by motorcycle riders to Millinocket escorted by Maine State Troopers. Then 48 hikers will carry the stones to various summits in Baxter State Park. Please come out and witness this event for our fallen military members.
