State President Visit-Portland

Maine Elks State President Michael Hannigan and First Lady Denise will be making their official visit to the Portland Elks Lodge on August 3, 2024. The Lodge will be taking the first couple on a harbor cruise in Portland Harbor aboard a two-masted schooner operated by the Portland Schooner Company. The schooner will leave the Maine State Pier at 1:00 p.m., and the cruise will last two hours, sailing the waters of Casco Bay. Passengers will see wildlife and lighthouses. The cost is $60 per person. Passengers are welcome to bring food and drink, including beer and wine, aboard.

For reservations, contact the Portland Schooner Company at (207) 766-2500 and ask for Anne Draddy. Advise her that you are with the Elks when you make your reservation.

Upon returning, the lodge will host a dinner in honor of the MEA State President and First Lady, followed by entertainment. Hotel information will be provided by the lodge via e-mail to each lodge, which will also include the ticket price for dinner.
