Installed during the BPOE Grand Lodge session in Kansas City, MO, the DDGER for Maine’s Central District is Aaron Allumbaugh, PER from the Farmington Lodge #2430.
Aaron was born in San Jose, CA and moved back to Farmington, Maine while only a few months old, living there until he was in 4th Grade. The family moved to Standish, Maine till his Sophomore year in High School and they then moved to Florida until graduation. After Graduation he enlisted in the Navy.
Aaron moved back to Maine and worked as a cook at a few local restaurants, then moved onto a Heavy Equipment operator at an area lumber company. Aaron met his wife Anissa and they married in 2010. Together they have 27 & 24 year-old daughters, a 17 year-old son and they just became proud grandparents of baby boy Larrie!
Since joining the Elk’s over 13 years ago Aaron has been an officer in the Farmington lodge for almost all these years, including three years as Exalted Ruler. He is currently Farmington’s State Trustee as well as serving President Corey as Esquire on the suite. He has served on many different committees over the years and enjoys helping kids and Veterans in the Community. If there is a Baseball game on the lodge field you can find him cooking in the Snack Shack. He is the Chairperson for the lodge’s local community program, Operation Santa and is serving as the state’s Fraternal Committee chairman.
When not working with the ELKS, in his spare time Aaron enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
