On the behalf of the Maine Elks’ Association Veterans Committe, co-chair Lina Michaud just delivered three boxes of brand new winter oats to USVAH Togus to help ensure our Veterans stay warm this Winter. The Maine Elks Association has teamed up with Operation Warm to make this possible.
She also delivered a box of Fingerless Gloves for veterans in wheelchairs, made from donated deer hides through the Elks National Veterans Service Commission. They are handsomely branded with the Elks Name, as “So long as there are Veterans the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them.”
We want every Veteran to know that we will do everything in our power to help them.
