The annual State Association Flag Day ceremony will be held at the Houlton Elks Lodge on June 14th at 2:00 p.m.  MEA President Michael Hannigan from the Houlton Lodge #835 will lead the ceremony with the other state officers.  To make the ceremony an impressive one, we are asking for volunteer flag bearers to carry in the ceremonial flags during the event.  All Exalted Rulers, other lodge officers, and members are encouraged to attend and participate.  This is a public event, guest are always welcomed.

The uniform of the day will be white dinner jackets for State Officers, and Lodge Jackets for others participating in the event. Before the ceremony, the Houlton Lodge will be offering a light luncheon at 1p.m.

Please be at the Houlton Lodge no later than 1:30 p.m. if you plan on participating in the ceremony.

If you plan to attend, or would like to be a flag bearer, please contact the event coordinator, Scott Gray, by calling his cell at 458-8982, or by e-mailing Scott at DTsgray1963@gmail.com.
