On the evening of Saturday, March 4th, Elks from around Maine and New England (Massacussetts anyway) braved a raging Winter storm to gather at the Portland Lodge, #188, to celebrate the homecoming of MEA President Al Ingraham and First Lady Stephanie. It was a casual evening of brotherhood and festivities, with all enjoying a good-natured Roast of the President as his year nears it’s end.
Toward the end of the evening, since Portland was the current custodian of the Coastal District Roaming ELK, a tally was taken and it was found that members from Wells Lodge #2738 were the greatest number present. As the weekend ends, and the Roaming Elk season winds down, ROCKY will be returning to the lodge where he began the Fraternal Year last spring.
