Saturday, February 25th found Elks in motion in both the Central and the Coastal districts.

Twenty hearty souls from the Waterville lodge braved the icey February temperatures, making the trek south to join in on a wine-tasting the Augusta folks were putting on.  Some fine vintages were quaffed and a fine time was had by all.  It turns out that the Waterville herd was also big enough to capture ROMEO,  the Central District Roaming Elk.

At the same time along the Coast, the Elks in Bath were holding their third annual Mardis Gras celebration and several district lodges joine in on the fund.  Groups from Brunswick, Portland and Rockland lodges travelled to Bath for some costumed fun and brotherhood.  In the end it was the eight members from Portland that captured ROCKY the Coastal District Roaming Elk.
