On Sunday, September 4th the Bangor Lodge #244 hosted a car show to raise funds for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program. It was a beautiful late summer day with over 400 spectators from the local communities in attendance who showed up to take in the great weather, and the show. There was a total of 80 vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles) on display ranging from the 1920s to 2020, with one vehicle traveling over 90 miles to take part in the event. 29 volunteers from the Bangor Lodge worked hard to make sure the show was a huge success, registering cars, working the entrance and collecting entrance fees, cooking, and attending the many raffles, which raised $4160.00 for MCCP. Not a bad days work for a hard working group.
