To My Fellow Elks:
Hello, Elks of Maine. My name is Sean Lenaghan. I am the Junior Past Exalted Ruler of Newton, MA Lodge #1327. I hope you are all enjoying your summer and I hope your delegates had a great National Convention. I would like to extend an offer of hospitality from our Lodge to yours.
I am assuming, that some of your members are U. Maine Football fans; And that some of them may travel for away games. This year, the Boston College Eagles will be hosting the Black Bears, on Saturday, 9/17. If any of your members, or groups of members plan on attending the game, we would like to host them for some comradery.
Our Lodge is located 3 miles from BC’s Alumni Stadium. We are also only 15 minutes from Fenway Park and Downtown Boston. There are several hotels and accommodations nearby.
We hope that we will get to meet some of your members, this Fall. Please have them reach out to me if they have any questions, and also so that I can get a head count, to make sure we have enough stewards on duty. Even if you can’t make it up here for the game, know that we would love to have you visit our Lodge, someday down the road.
