The Maine Elks Ritualistic Committee will be holding its annual State Ritual Contest at the Sanford Elks Lodge #1470 on February 27, 2022. The contest is open to any Elk Lodge in the State of Maine to compete using the initiatory ritual. Lodges must use their current elected and appointed officers, and their parts must be performed by memory. The contestants will be judged on impressiveness, word accuracy, pronunciation, deportment (movements), and team appearance. The top scoring Lodge will have the opportunity to compete in the national contest at the Grand Lodge convention to be held in Atlanta, GA in July 2022.
