Brunswick Elks Lodge #2043 member Jackie Manton donates four quilts to Operation First Response, an organization supporting wounded Heroes and their Families. Operation First Response takes donated quilts and includes them in the First Response Backpacks that are sent to the American military hospitals in Iraq. They also need quilts to be sent to the Fisher House at Brooke Army Medical hospital in Texas and to the Ft. Wainwright base in Fairbanks, Alaska. We are not sure where Jackie's quilts will end up but we do know that four wounded Service Members will Enjoy and Treasure the Patriotic Theme quilts that Jackie made and donated. Jackie, Thank you for your generosity and for sharing your talent with our wounded heroes. They are going to love them!
